Privacy
This site collects one thing: what you type into the contact form. It also measures how its own pages perform, which is off until you agree to it. There is no advertising, no profiling and nothing is shared with anyone for their own use. This page says exactly what is kept, who can read it and how to have it removed.
Last updated 4 September 2026.
01What is collected
Only when you send an enquiry, and only what you type. Every route asks for:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Whether you agreed to this policy, and the date and time you did
And offers, without requiring them:
- A phone number
- Your country
Depending on which route you choose, it also asks two questions about the enquiry itself: the event and what you would like him to do, the publication and the kind of request, what you are proposing for the podcast, or simply what you would like to discuss. Plus an optional box for anything else you want to add.
The date and time of the submission is recorded with it. Nothing else is collected, and nothing is added from any other source.
02What is not collected
- No advertising and no third party tracking. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no advertising tags, no session recording, and nothing that follows you to another site. The one thing that is measured is set out in clause 11.
- No marketing list. There is no newsletter here, so submitting an enquiry does not sign you up to anything.
- No profiling and no automated decisions. A person reads what you send.
03Why it is collected
To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only purpose. It is not used for marketing, not sold, and not shared with anyone for their own purposes.
The lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box before you send, and the legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked to be contacted. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking for your enquiry to be deleted.
04Who can read it
Named administrators only. Access is enforced by the database rather than by the website, so a person who is not on that list gets nothing back even if they hold a valid login. Anyone visiting the site can submit an enquiry and cannot read one.
Every change an administrator makes, whether marking an enquiry as read or replied, adding a private note or deleting it, is written to a log that records who did it and when. Nobody can edit or erase an entry in that log, including the administrators.
05Where it is stored, and who else is involved
Enquiries are stored in a database hosted by Supabase. The site itself is hosted by Lovable. Neither is given your enquiry for their own use; they hold it on our behalf.
Two other services are contacted by your browser as the page loads:
- Google Fonts serves the typeface. Your IP address reaches Google as a result.
- logo.dev serves the company logos shown beside his board and advisory roles. Your IP address reaches them when that part of the page comes into view.
- The hosting platform’s analytics, which counts page views and loading speeds, and only if you have agreed to it. Clause 11 sets out exactly what it does and the cookie it uses.
Neither receives anything you type. Both are ordinary consequences of loading images and fonts from another domain, and both would be avoidable by serving those files from this site instead.
06How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from the last contact about them, and then deleted. An enquiry that leads to ongoing work is kept for as long as that work and any record-keeping obligation lasts.
When an enquiry is deleted it is removed permanently. There is no recycle bin. The log keeps a line saying it was deleted, by whom and when, without keeping what it said.
07Your rights
Whatever your country, you can ask to:
- See a copy of everything held about you
- Have anything inaccurate corrected
- Have it deleted
- Withdraw the consent you gave when you sent it
- Object to it being held at all
Ask through the contact form, choosing “Not sure which”. We will answer within 30 days.
If you are in the UK or the EU and are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
08The other two sites
The Worxshop and Numero Uno Collection are separate. Choosing either on the contact form sends you to their own site and stores nothing here: no record of the click, no partial enquiry, nothing. What happens once you arrive is covered by their own privacy policy, not this one.
09Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent an enquiry, ask us to delete it and we will.
10Changes, and who is responsible
Gaurav Dhar is responsible for the information described here. If this page changes materially the date at the top changes with it.
Ask through the contact form, choosing “Not sure which”. We will answer within 30 days.
11Cookies, and the one that needs your permission
Three cookies can appear on this site. Two of them keep it running and cannot be switched off. The third measures how the pages perform and is not set unless you agree to it, which is what the notice at the bottom of the screen is asking.
- __cf_bm, set by Cloudflare, which sits in front of this site and separates real visitors from automated traffic. It lasts half an hour and exists to keep the site available. No permission is asked for it because without it the site cannot be served safely.
- __dpl, set by the host, which keeps you on one consistent version of the site while you are reading it. Necessary for the same reason.
- session-id, set by the hosting platform’s own analytics. It gives your visit a random identifier so that page views and loading speeds can be counted. This is the one that waits for you. Decline and it is never written, and nothing is sent.
The measurement itself records which pages were opened and how quickly they drew. It does not read anything you type, it is not joined to your enquiry, it is not used to advertise to you and it does not follow you to any other site.
Your answer is remembered in your own browser rather than in a cookie, so saying no does not itself store the thing you said no to. To change your mind either way, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the question will be asked again on your next visit.
Being straight about one thing: the analytics belongs to the platform the site is built and hosted on, not to Gaurav Dhar, and it arrives with the hosting rather than being chosen. It is held back until you agree, and this page names it, because you should be told what is there whoever put it there.
